These general conditions of sale, to the exclusion of all others, govern the contractual relations linking the company NB Cretum d.o.o. to any individual consulting the Website accessible at the address "www.TheFrenchCorner.eu " and / or wishing to acquire a product offered for sale on said site. NB Cretum d.o.o. reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

Each term or expression hereinafter shall have, the following meanings: "SELLER" means the company NB CRETUM d.o.o. as identified above; "WEBSITE" means the infrastructure developed by NB Cretum d.o.o. according to the computer formats available and usable on the Internet, accessible at the address "www.TheFrenchCorner.eu" and intended to be consulted by the Buyers to know or acquire the products or services it offers for sale.

Term BUYER represents physical person or legal entity wishing to acquire one or more products or services listed on the site.
By placing an order with "www.TheFrenchCorner.eu", Buyer is confirming that is legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

Buyer is responsible for accuracy and completeness of the data entered. Buyer is responsible that the personal information, which is required to provide when register, are: true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and buyer is not impersonating any other person or entity.

All transactions are governed by the Consumer Rights Act.

Access to the internet site WWW.THEFRENCHCORNER.EU may be from time to time disabled due to technical issues and or due to unpredictable circumstances, SELLER will try to remove it as soon as possible.

It is possible to pay by bank remittance.

Only for our customers in Croatia we enabled cash payment to the company delivering the parcel.  (so called “plaćanje pouzećem)

TheFrenchCorner.eu uses CorvusPay payment gateway service. Upon execution of the order you will be redirected to CorvusPay payment Checkout page to complete the order.

All transfers are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled according The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Registration

In order to purchase on our website registration is not necessary. It is necessary to fulfill the 1st step of check out process and leave your current e mail address, that is the one you have an access to.

Thus, your order can be confirmed.

It is advisable to register your data so you do not have to enter all information eg.: address, e-mail address, telephone number and password every time you want to make a purchase. Please make sure that you chose strong password.

After necessary data are entered, please press “Registration” in order to confirm it.

Customer account stays in our system and can be accessed with combination of customer name and password on the page “Prijava”

In case you forget the password on the said page you should click “Password forgotten” on the very same page. An automatic e-mail will be sent to you so password can be reset.

In short after your user account has been created, you need your Customer name and password only, in order to purchase on Webshop.

Delivery

Payment and delivery

It is possible to make payment by

  • Credit card
  • Cash payment to delivery service (in Croatia only)
  • Bank remittance

Credit card payments

Payments by credit card system is integrated on web pages. After you choose payment by “Credit card” a field to enter credit card data will be open. Information regarding credit card, number and holder of the credit card are not kept on our servers.

The purchase is finished when the credit card is authorized.

Cash payment to delivery service (plaćanje pouzećem)

If you wish to pay to the delivery service upon delivery of the parcel please choose “payment by cash upon delivery”

It is convenient to have exact amount of cash in order to have fast receipt of the parcel.

Your order will be packed immediately if you choose “payment by cash upon delivery”

Payment by bank remittance

If you wish to pay by bank remittance we will send you pro forma invoice by e mail. Proforma invoice can be paid by Internet banking. Parcel will be sent upon receipt of your payment. If payment is not received within 3 days we will consider your order as null and void.

Invoice

Invoice will be sent to you by mail.

Delivery

We deliver in EU only.

Costs of Delivery

All orders higher than 50€ (HRK 376,73) are delivered to the Buyer within Croatia free of charge.

4€ (HRK 30,14) will be charged for all orders lower than 50 EUR (HRK 376,73) and delivered within Croatia.

All orders higher than 100€ (HRK 753,45) will be delivered free of charge within European Union; for the orders lower than 100€ postage costs be charged in the amount of 10€ (HRK75,35)

Your parcel will be handed over to the company MBE – Mail boxes etc. That is delivery company which may use other deliver companies (like HP EXPRESS, or GLS) from time to time in order to optimize delivery routes and care for the environment.

Delivery time

All orders which are received on a working day until 2 p.m. are processed the same day so in most cases the parcels are handed over to the delivery service the very same day.

Orders received on a working day, except on Fridays, after 2 p.m. are handed over to the delivery service on the following working day. On Monday we process all the orders received over the weekend.

After the parcel with your order is handed over to the delivery service we will send you an e-mail with the parcel number so you can check the status of parcel.

Unfortunately, we are not in the position to influence the speed of delivery. However, all the orders will be delivered within 5 (five) working days, if place of delivery is within Croatia; if parcel is sent within EU time of delivery might be longer.

In case we do not have all the items on stock Buyers will be informed by e mail about the possible delay in delivery.

If the Buyer does not live on the recorded address or address is not known, delivery service will try to contact the Buyer in order to arrange delivery time or possibly another delivery address. If delivery is not possible the parcel will be returned to the seller.

It is our duty to deliver your order in time if the data filled in are correct.

Return Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with our products. However, If you by any chance receive a parcel with the products that you want to return because of wrong data, goods are damaged or any other valid reason we kindly ask you to contact us within 2 days of receipt of the parcel.

You should send us your complaint by e-mail to the following e-mail address: [email protected] within 14 days as legally obliged.

Please note: a 100 percent refund of your return can only be made if the items arrive back in their original packaging and unused.

For used items we reserve the right to withhold a part of the refund amount. Please also note that we can only take back hygiene articles which still have the existing seal and which are not defective. The return of vouchers and e-vouchers is also excluded.

Instructions for returning goods

  • If you wish to make a return, send us an e-mail containing your name, address, e-mail address, the order number and a specification of which items that the return relates to, preferably using the return form.
  • Ship the items for return within 14 days of the date of the notification.
  • You are responsible for any damage incurred by items during the return shipment. We therefore strongly recommend that you send the products well packaged, in good condition and in their original box and/or packaging.
  • If possible, please provide us with a tracking number for the return shipment.
  • Unless otherwise agreed upon, the refund will be processed through the same payment method you used to make your original purchase.
  • If the product or packaging is used or damaged, we reserve the right to deduct any depreciation in value when refunding the product.

Right to Withdrawal

You may withdraw your order by notifying us within 14 days from the day that you received the ordered products. You must then send us a withdrawal notification containing your name, address, e-mail address, the order number and a specification of which products that the withdrawal relates to, for example by using the web form on the Website. You must then also, immediately and within 14 days from the date of the withdrawal notification, return the withdrawn products to us at your expense. You are responsible for the condition of the products during the shipment back to us and we therefore strongly recommend that you send these well packaged, in good condition and in their original box and/or packaging.

When an order is withdrawn by you, we will refund the price that you have paid for the products withdrawn, including any shipping costs for standard delivery to you (meaning the cheapest available method of delivery so you will not get a refund for extra costs due to that you have opted for express delivery or something similar). From the amount to be refunded we will however deduct any depreciation in value of the products if such depreciation is due to that you have handled them to a greater extent than necessary to determine their function or characteristics. Shipping costs are further only refunded if the withdrawn products form a whole order and are therefore not refunded if you cancel only parts of an order. We will pay the amount to be refunded as soon as possible and within 14 days of the withdrawal notification. We will, however, delay the payment until we have received the withdrawn products or proof that they have been sent to us (certificate of delivery). The refund will be paid with the same payment method that you used to pay the withdrawn products unless otherwise agreed.
