    “French manucure”

The French manicure, which is called “French manucure”, did not, in fact, originate in France. That type of manicure was created in America in the 1975 by President and CEO of “Orly International”: Jeff Pink, working in Hollywood. The French manicure become a hit after “Orly” introduced the first French manicure kit, that has been used by Hollywood actresses in the 70s.

Although the French manicure is one of the most popular types of nail treatment, French women don’t really wear it. Instead, they prefer to go for a totally transparent or nude nail polish.

Super long nails are not fashionable in France. Also, French women don’t follow trends and nail polishes are much less creative; there are no fancy drawings nor nail diamonds. French women stick to the chic classics: red, burgundy and lately, black or neutral.

French women wear their nails short or with a little length, neat and with or without polish. Nails are real; fake nails are considered vulgar in France, rounded, classic looking, and are either painted in clear/ neutral or red colors. Remember that the beauty philosophy in France is never to look like you’re trying too hard.

For true care they chose nail polish ingredients of natural origin and essential strengthening ingredients such as Silicon and Castor Oil. MÊME ensures more than a manicure, it gives a true ritual of complete care for the nails without breaking a bank.
